Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2013

I should have wrote about this sooner, but whatever. Been watching it since like 2005? I backtracked and only really remember the shows starting from 2002 because anything prior to that wasn't as entertaining to watch. As for the group of "Angels", my favorite would be the 2003-2005 girls. It was the most diverse looking, in my opinion.

Karolina is missing and I think that's it.

It was also a shame that Miranda wasn't in the show this year because she was in Tokyo or something. I really like her. Lily and Behati are so ehhhhhhh. I don't really see anything special about them. Behati has a cute personality but I don't think she's Angel worthy. On the other hand, I think Karlie is great. Karlie got a walkkkkk and that supermodel status, albeit being a bit too skinny for my liking.

As for the performers, I think last year's was one of the best. The "Phresh Out The Runway" performance was kind of random but I think it was filled with so much swag and sass that it didn't matter what the theme was. Other than that, the rest of the performances of 2012 fit with the sets well. This year, Fall Out Boy was my favorite of the night and their collaboration with Taylor Swift was freaking sweet and epic. The show basically proved Taylor's vocals has much improved since her Fearless days.

Candice carries herself so well. Her face reads "yeah...I'm soooooo fucking hot". Her waist kind of scares me but GAWD~ she's hot. I stan for Doutzen and Adriana for as long as they're a part of VS though. Their bodies are SO BANGIN'. I love how they're both so athletic. They're such an inspiration and they're also both moms!

Was sitting in the car and heard this on the radio. It wasn't a song that played often so it was quite refreshing to listen to. The airwaves here basically consists of anything from Rihanna's LOUD till now, any single from Katy Perry, Lady Gaga's current singles, Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball, that Drake song, and that Avicii song I really don't like.

Well anyway, I was like "who sings this?" to myself and then used my handy dandy Google Now to find out. I tapped the mic, said "what song is this?" and tadaaaaa!

Ain't technology amazing? (lol). Once, I used it to try and find the name of this country song I heard but I don't think it gave me the correct artist. Other than that, it's pretty cool and accurate.

Two Months Later...

Okay, I just ended up changing my layout a bit because the whole thumb + auto-preview formatting thing wasn't cutting it. At least now, it's easier to embed things (like Instagram videooos!).

I wonder if I can recap my almost 2 months of leaving this for dead. Basically, my batshit crazy professor scares the shizzat outta me, so I've been reading and trying to retain as much information as I can in an effort to NOT fail. It was a class on Mexican politics and I know almost nothing about Mexico, besides knowing some shitty Spanish. Finals are over. I will check my grades when Christmas nears, I guess. I need to take another look at my academic progress report online anyway because I'm literally 6 units away from graduating, and I just need to make sure it's happening. I also need to file the paper work for graduation which I was suppose to do 20 weeks ago, but yeeeaaaaah. My friend said they're going to scold me because of it but whatever. I don't plan go attend the ceremony for it and it's not like I'll need my diploma immediately anyway. 

Lol, I always thought it'd be cool to have a diverse portfolio like..."Hi! I'm a certified teacher with a massage therapy, personal training, and bar tending license. I also have a bachelors in Political Science concentrating on Public Administration. Furthermore, I'm also a YouTube personality and blogger". I'm sure interviewers would just look at that with an eyebrow raised though (lol).

But anyway, I also spent a whole week or so writing a 21 page paper on the Obama administration for my senior writing class. That class is easy though because the teacher is so nice. I wrote a lot of stuff on my midterm and barely cited anything (even though I skimmed through the entire book) and ended up with a B+ on my midterm. That left me a little, like, "woah~" because my other professor is scary (lol). She reminds me of the actress who plays "Veep" if I haven't already stated it before. During my paper writing, I really could've utilized a second monitor so that it'd be easier to read a source on one screen and type on the other. My brother, however, uses it to fucking play online games on one and streams sports games on the other which bugs the shit outta me because I find it so unproductive.

Back to food though! Ummmm... going back to where I left off on my last entry in October, I had this chirashi bowl with Lisa and a small boat of sushi at R2 Kazoku. Although good, I don't think it was worth the $30 or so spent on it. Our boat's sushi selection (it's random) also wasn't as good as our first one.

Britney Jean.

Heeeeeeeeeey! No one. In an effort to write more, I'll be adding more opinionated stuff, I guess. I just finished the quarter so I have some extra time to fuck around. It'll probably end up being mostly on TV and music though.

So if y'all didn't know, I'm like a big Britney fan so I got Britney Jean the day after it was released. It's been a week since its debut and is supposedly speculated to hit #4 or 5 on the Billboard Top 200. Listened to it since the iTunes stream was available a week before official release. I think it's a solid album that's just as good as Femme Fatale, but yeah. Mama Brit hasn't really done any promotions with it besides going on some television shows to talk. If this was Femme Fatale, she would've been performing Hold it Against Me and Till the World Ends all lazily looking right now on several shows before going all MIA. Funny reading stans freak out about how it didn't beat One Direction because almost every album debuted #1 except for this and Blackout. No one can really be that successful for over such a long period of time. There's always the next artist in the spotlight. Either way, I like her to the point that I actually bought the album to support her.
